TenRise is made by Cloudtrees. This page covers the TenRise Firefox extension and this website.

In short: the extension sends nothing to us. It has no account with us, no telemetry and no analytics. It talks only to Microsoft, on your behalf, and keeps its data in your browser.

The extension

What it stores, on your device only

• Accounts you add: the sign-in name (for example you@customer.com) and the tenant it belongs to.
• Customers: the name and colour you see, tenant IDs and domains, and which PIM groups and roles belong to them.
• Your last activation inputs per role (reason, duration, ticket number) and up to five recently used ticket numbers per customer, so you don't have to type them again.
• Your license string, if you entered one.
• Sign-in tokens from Microsoft. These live in Firefox's session storage only: they are gone when you close Firefox.

Removing a customer or account in TenRise deletes its data. Removing the extension deletes all of it.

Who it talks to

Only Microsoft: login.microsoftonline.com to sign you in, graph.microsoft.com for PIM groups and Microsoft Entra roles, and management.azure.com for Azure resource roles. It does so directly from your browser, with your own account, and only within the permissions an administrator of that tenant approved (see Permissions & consent).

What you send through TenRise, such as an activation with its reason and ticket number, ends up in that tenant's Microsoft Entra audit logs, exactly as when you use the Azure portal. Microsoft's privacy statement and the tenant's own policies apply there.

What we never see

Your tokens, your customers, your roles, your activations, reasons or ticket numbers. None of it passes through a server of ours; we don't run one for the extension. Your license is checked inside the extension, without contacting us.

Licenses and contact

When we issue a Pro or Partner license, we keep the licensee name, the contact email address, the plan and the expiry date, for support and invoicing. If you email us, we use your message and address to answer you. We keep this as long as the license or conversation needs it and as long as the law requires for invoices, and we never sell or share it for marketing.

This website

No cookies, no analytics, no trackers, and nothing loaded from other sites. The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages; Cloudflare processes technical request data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site (see Cloudflare's privacy policy).

Your rights

You can ask us what personal data we hold about you, and have it corrected or deleted: email privacy@gettenrise.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

If this changes, we update this page and the date at the top.
